Baseball and Weight-Lifting Senior Pictures in Columbia, MO

You know how you always want a senior guy who is up for anything? Funny, having a good time, not afraid to smile, and ready to rock his shoot. That is Gage

From the moment he walked into his shoot, I knew we were going to have a great time. He actually came in wearing workout clothes with paint on his hands from helping his friend move. His mom and I laughed at how senior guys operate. He got changed into his workout gear and we started shooting. We did some shots in the studio and we also shot some of his baseball stuff on the green screen, so that we could capture his time playing for Hickman.

After the shoot, I went out to Hickman and get some shots of the bullpen and the field to use in some composite images for him. That allowed us to save some time that day and really get everything into his shoot that he wanted to.

After we went after we did his sports images, we went downtown and we shot lots of different looks. I even managed to convince his mom to hop in for a quick shot. I always think that's so important for the mom to get a shot with her baby. Moms are almost always on the other side of the camera and rarely in photos, so I never miss an opportunity to get them in front of the camera with their senior.

We wrapped up Gage's shoot at the gym that he lifts weights that and got a number of cool shots on the squat rack and on the benches and just overall had a really great time at this shoot.

I love that they took my advice to heart when it came to outfit selections to pull a color that complements your seniors eyes. This blue pullover does exactly that. It really brings out those bright blue tones in his eye and looks amazing on him. We did a big wall art piece of one of these portraits this one downtown in the gray and it looks perfect on their wall. It's timeless and captures who he is without a big cheesy smile which is amazing.
