Softball Senior Pictures - Columbia Missouri Photographer

They say blondes have more fun, and in Ali's case, I think that is true! She is one bubbly girl who you cannot help but have fun with! Her family came to me looking for some beautiful portraits as well as some killer softball shots, and we nailed it!

Softball players are so fun to shoot with because it is a sport that has so many "accessories." We get poses with gloves, the bat, the ball, helmets, cleats, and so much more. Taking the action shots is my absolute favorite. One, everyone feels a little bit silly, and it is a great ice breaker to get everyone having fun and not taking things too seriously. Two, I love that these shots really showcase the magic that goes into the photographs after the session. Since these athlete's senior photos are meant to commemorate year and years of dedication, it is an honor to get to be the photographer helping create something that will be treasured. Ali's softball portraits were super important to her because she has been playing since she was a little girl. Her dad is a big part of her athletic career, and we knew we wanted to blow him away with these shots! I think we accomplished that! ;)

If you are a softball player, or any type of senior athlete, don't forget that you should book your senior portrait photographer earlier in the year than you might think. Photoshoots book up about 2-3 months in advance, and even farther ahead in the summer and fall months.
