You've probably noticed that the Senior Model Team will receive Professional Hair and Makeup for their shoots. This is so important and I definitely encourage anyone having their portraits done to splurge on this. Here's my Top Three Reasons why....

1. The Experience - How many times in your life will you have your portraits done by a professional? Most people will say only a handful of times. In that case, why not make the whole day one of pampering and relaxation? Not having to stress over getting the perfect curl and exact shade of lipstick will make the day so much more fun for you.

2. You're going to be looking at these images for a long time. - Your senior portrait will likely be on display in your parents home for the next 20 years (at least). Having someone who knows what they are doing will ensure that you don't end up documenting that weird eyeliner phase you went through in high school. You're doing your future-self a favor.

3. It's going to last. - You aren't going to need to stop halfway through the shoot to try and salvage your do'. The pro's are trained to anticipate all of the elements and will set your look with the right products to make it last without looking crunchy. Likewise with your makeup, it will stick around even if we are shooting in 100% humidity in July. (Thanks, Missouri.)
